One of the most popular hikes in Provo, the Y Mountain Trail, takes you up to the large “Y” painted on the mountainside that symbolizes Brigham Young University. Though it’s a relatively short hike, the steep switchbacks can be challenging. But the payoff is well worth it! From the top, you’ll have a fantastic view of Provo and Utah Lake, especially stunning at sunset.
